Tour 7: A special day in Tuscany


Do you have just 1 day in Tuscany....no problem! Siena, San Gimignano, Chianti area and Pisa in 1 day...now is possible.
Price per person: € 85,00 for adults. Season: from 16th March to 31th October every day; from 1st November to 15th March on Monday, Thursday and Saturday Departure Point: outside Santa Maria Novella Station, under the black clock on the top of the main building (see the map) Departure: 8:00 a.m. (you should arrive at least 15 minutes prior the departure of the tour); Included: Bus, Typical Italian lunch and wine tasting, English Speaking guide in Siena, Duomo tickets, Pick up at your hotel on request. Important: the tour is guaranteed in English and Spanish, for any other language we require a minimum of 6 people; for children under 2 years of age the excursion is free of any charge; children aged between 2 and 8 have a 50% reduction Please note that the drop-of service is not included in the price Return: around h 8.00 p.m.
Our day will begin to the first light in the morning with the visit of one of the Italian symbols, Pisa . Here we have free time to admire the wonderful Cathedral, the Baptistery, the monumental Cemetery and to take scenic pictures of the famous Leaning Tower. We’ll continue our tour in a famous wine estate at the foot of San Gimignano, where the lunch based on typical Florentine products , will come complete with a wine tasting. It won’t be a simple wine tasting, but a real “wine tasting class”, in which, the secrets of wine tasting will be revealed. After lunch we’ll go to the most wonderful Medieval hilltop village in Italy, San Gimignano, where we can enjoy our free time to explore the maze of its cobbled streets, the small squares and many shops of local artisans and farm products.Our exciting day continues with a view of the true Chianti countryside and one of the most enchanting lands in the world with a patchwork of different panoramas scattered with hilltop hamlets, little churches and castles before arriving to Siena. In Siena we’ll meet our guide and we’ll start our promenade around the most important squares to the Cathedral, where we will visit its interior. At the end of the visit we’ll have time to enjoy a coffee and do some shopping in typical local shops. When the sun sets it’s time to go back to Florence.
