Lucca and Pisa are undoubtedly to be placed among the richest cities in the world as far as their architectural heritage is concerned: therefore, they have to be considered unmissable destinations for those who want to experience a complete view of Tuscany and its artistic background.
Once arrived in Lucca, famous for its distinctive walls interrupted by huge gates and ramparts, our Tour escort will lead you to the enchanting old town centre walking along a section of the walls to enjoy a breathtaking view over the roofs. You will then have free time to admire the main attractions of the city, such as the Anfiteatro Square, the Guinigi Tower, the San Martino Cathedral, and finally the picturesque Street of Antiques shops.
Moving to Pisa you will have time to lunch (not included in the price) before joining a guided tour in the impressive Piazza dei Miracoli: you will admire the Baptistery and, what is more, the Leaning Tower, together with other historical monuments, such as the Cathedral (interior too). The tour will end with a pleasant stop in a farmhouse in the countryside of Lucca, where we will be offered the best Chianti red wine along with some typical appetizers.
You will finally come back to Florence by the early evening.
